Fracture Point Reputation Level: Official Achievement and Known Details

Is Reputation a System in Fracture Point?

Yes. The official Steam achievements list includes Best Friend, whose condition is “Reach the maximum reputation level.” The official Steam Community update feed also mentions a bug that could reset a player's Reputation level. These primary sources confirm that Reputation is a real progression system in the released game.

Older demo footage that does not show a reputation meter cannot establish that the released game lacks the system. Keep Reputation separate from other persistent upgrades or luck mechanics unless an official source links them.

What the Sources Establish

The achievement gives a completion condition but not the steps for reaching it. The update note shows that the level could be affected by a reset bug; it does not explain how Reputation is earned or what each level changes.

How to Track Reputation Progress

Use the current in-game interface to identify where the level is displayed and what actions change it. Record the update number, starting value, actions taken, and resulting value when documenting a leveling method. This makes player testing useful without presenting an unverified formula as an official rule.

For progression changes, consult the developer's Steam Community announcements. Avoid substituting demo-era meta-upgrades, currency bonuses, or a luck effect for Reputation without evidence that they are connected.
